Guru Event: Dinner and an Anchorman at the Exhibit Bar in Balham

DSC_6436

From free cocktails and a comfortably private screening of a modern day comedy classic to our delicious post-movie din-din, last night’s Dinner and an Anchorman event at the Exhibit Bar (located conveniently near Balham Station) was kind of a big deal. Full of laughs and plenty of quality Friday night gabbing, the evening represented what I’ve come to love most about hosting these events: the interesting conversations that arise and the connections I see being made between Qypers. It can be really tough meeting folks in London; these freebie outings offer an excellent opportunity to buddy up with some super friendly peeps!

When attempting to make nice with new acquaintances, the setting is key. We were fortunate to be at such an ideal venue last night. To the incredibly accommodating staff at the Exhibit Bar: thanks for the drinks and access to your spacious and ultra-plush screening room. Dinner was yummy, ample and reasonably priced. I would totally be into kicking back and having another movie-fest at Exhibit.

Stay classy, London.
