Upcoming Guru Event: Cuban Cigar Walk London
The friendly and informative audio amblers at Cities in Sound have offered a free Cuban cigar walk for 10 Qypers. I’ve been on this walk, absolutely loved it and would really enjoy going again.
For cigar smokers, this fun and photogenic guided tour is a must-do. Even for non-cigar smokers, learning about Mayfair, Churchill and such while visiting some of London’s most historic and characterful shops is a great way to spend a few hours.
The tour will be on Friday the 14th of May. We’ll meet up at 11am near the Churchill and Roosevelt statue at the junction of Bond Street and Old Bond Street. We’ll visit the four best Cuban cigar stores in London and other fascinating Mayfair spots as we take in the history of Cuba’s most famous export and its ties to one of London’s spiffiest and most fascinating postcodes.
