Some proper tasty looking geezers….
Now here’s a chance to experience the gory joys of a live interactive, grisly crime scene, and to be taken “into the darkness of the Kray brothers’ east London” without even the slightest risk of your evening’s fun ending with a concrete overcoat and propping up the foundations of a flyover on the M3.
For this very special event, ITV, Carnival Films, Mindshare and film specialist elevenfiftyfive are collaborating to curate a live extravaganza to be held on the 7th October at the Mile End Genesis Cinema. Cast members who will be in attendance include Rupert Penry-Jones, Phil Davis, Steve Pemberton, Peter Serafinowicz and Craig Parkinson. Atmospheric and brooding, this second series of Whitechapel draws on an iconic cult crime born out of London’s East End. After Jack the Ripper comes the gangster brutality of the Krays, and in Whitechapel the paranoia of this era and the faded glamour of the former East End overlords characterise the drama. But it’s all in the best possible taste!
We have two pairs of tickets to give away for this UK premiere of ITV1′s Whitechapel. All you need to do to enter is ONE of the following:
1. Email us with the subject line: “Saucy Jack, you’re a naughty one”
2. Tweet us with the phrase: “Cor blimey guv’nor, @qypedoeslondon you only ever hurt your own.”
Closes Tuesday 5th October, 8.59am. To claim this prize, you must be contactable by 11.00am on that day otherwise it will go to the next name drawn. No arguments or you and I are going to fall out, son.

You know Gallery Mess, right? The contemporary restaurant, bar and café at the Saatchi Gallery (whose lovely space is pictured above)? Well they’ve only gone and decided to launch a Meatball Monday menu, haven’t they? Every week, from the 4th October, they’ll be serving up this timeless dish with either a classic or modern twist – as devised by award-winning Rhubarb Food Design – alongside their regular seasonal menu.
In celebration of this notable culinary event, whose opening night helping will feature the classic slow braised Italian beef meatballs with soft parmesan polenta and cost £12.50 per person, we are giving away two FREE portions of meatballs to one lucky Qyper. Yes, you’ll have to fork out for your own drinks but all balls made from meat will be on the house.
All you need to do to enter is ONE of the following:
1. Email us with the subject line: “It’s just another Meatball Monday, oooh uh-ooh”
2. Tweet us with the phrase: “Harrumph @qypedoeslondon that’s another fine Gallery Mess you’ve gotten me into”
Closes Friday 1st October, 8.45am. To claim this prize, you must be contactable by 11.00am on Friday otherwise it will go to the next name drawn. No arguments or we’ll get heavy.
